AS/400 COBOL Developer

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
AS/400 COBOL DB2 RPG/RPGLE SQL IBM iSeries

Roles & Responsibilities
Develop maintain and support business-critical AS/400 COBOL and RPG-based applications adding strong legacy support to the teams TECHNICAL ARSENAL.
Deep understanding of DB2 databases; creating and maintaining data models and troubleshooting/tuning advanced SQL performance issues on the iSeries platform.
Extensive experience in analyzing debugging and resolving complex batch processing and interactive application issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional and modernization teams to integrate AS/400 applications with modern distributed systems.
Experience in continuous integration/deployment processes specific to the IBM i environment.
Knowledge of Agile principles with experience in Scrum or Kanban.
Familiar with general office machines and proficient in standard MS Office tools
