- 5:30 AM - 1:00 PM
- 10:00 PM - 5:30 AM
Open Availability Required
Must be available to work any day of the week including weekends and overnight shifts.
Vets Securing America (VSA) is currently seeking qualified Washington DC Armed Special Police Officers to support government security operations in the Washington DC area. This position requires candidates who hold all required DC permits and certifications and can maintain the highest level of professionalism while protecting personnel property and assets.
- Provide armed security services at government facilities.
- Control access and verify credentials.
- Patrol assigned areas and respond to incidents.
- Enforce security policies and procedures.
- Prepare detailed incident and activity reports.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
- Washington DC Armed Special Police Officer License
- Current 9mm Range Qualification
- Handcuff Permit
- O.C. Spray Permit
- Baton Permit
- First Aid Certification
- Open Availability
- Ability to work overnight shifts
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Ability to pass a physical examination
- Prior military law enforcement armed security or government security experience.
- Strong communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective during emergencies.
