Primary Location: Overland Park KS

Wage Range:$22.00-$22.50/HR

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. TheArmed Security Officerposition helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel visitors and the area.

Officer will be either in a patrol vehicle or posted at a specific entrance for access control.

Basic Requirements:

• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Companys pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation.
• 12 months of armed experience military or law enforcement required.
• Candidate will be required to pass psychological profile NRA class and obtain Armed KCMO guard card.
• MVR required as its a driving post.
