• Maintain a visible security presence to deter and prevent unauthorized activities theft vandalism and other criminal incidents.
• Patrol assigned areas both on foot and in a vehicle following established routes and schedules.
• Respond promptly to alarms emergencies and calls for assistance taking appropriate action in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Conduct thorough inspections of facilities equipment and vehicles for safety compliance and potential threats.
• Write detailed incident reports maintain accurate logs and submit documentation to management and law enforcement as needed.
• Enforce access control procedures verify identification and manage entry/exit points.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement emergency services and internal teams during critical incidents.
• Provide assistance and directions to employees visitors and the public while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
• Participate in regular training sessions drills and safety briefings to stay current with security protocols and firearm handling standards.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal state and local regulations related to armed security operations.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional education in criminal justice or related field is a plus.
• Valid state-issued security guard license with an authorized firearm endorsement.
• Current unrestricted federal firearms license (FFL) or comparable certification.
• Experience in a security or lawenforcement role preferably with armed responsibilities.
• Clean criminal background check and drug screening results.
• Excellent observation judgment and decisionmaking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Physical ability to stand walk and perform patrol duties for extended periods; must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
• First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).

• Familiarity with video surveillance systems access control software and incident reporting tools.
• Training in advanced defensive tactics deescalation techniques and crisis response.
• Knowledge of local state and federal firearms regulations.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays.
