Armed Emergency Room Patrol Officer

VETS Securing America (VSA) is seeking qualified Armed Emergency Room Patrol Officers to provide security services in a healthcare environment. Candidates must be professional dependable and capable of maintaining a calm and effective presence in high-stress situations.

• Valid Level III (Commissioned Armed Security Officer) License issued by the State of Texas
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare security experience
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
• Law enforcement or military experience preferred
• Ability to remain calm in stressful environments
• Ability to stand walk and sit for extended periods

Applicants must possess and carry:

• Full-size duty-rated firearm chambered in:
  • 9mm
  • .40 caliber
  • .45 caliber
• Duty ammunition (hollow point)
• Level II or higher retention holster
• Minimum of 3 magazines
• Certified less-lethal option (OC Gel baton or Axon Taser)
• Duty belt secured to under-belt with belt keepers
• All equipment carried in appropriate retention holsters

• Ability to walk stand and sit for long periods
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with the public
• Calm decision-making under pressure
• Accurate report writing
• Ability to work effectively with security leadership and local law enforcement
