The Area Sales Manager is responsible for identifying markets of opportunity and securing market penetration for Care Hospice. The Area Sales Manager partners with Program Directors and Regional Sales Directors in developing Portfolio and Sales Strategies for the Hospice Programs in their defined area. The Area Sales Manager is involved in Program growth assists in ensuring the sales teams execution of the sales plan and ensures the professional development of sales staff.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm

Territory: Albuquerque and Las Cruces

Responsibilities
  • Day-to-Day Management: Take charge of the day-to-day management of our hospice agency community liaisons ensuring theyre fully equipped and focused on engaging with our target accounts effectively.
  • Training and Support: Provide hands-on training and ongoing support to our community liaisons empowering them with the tools and knowledge they need to excel in their roles and effectively manage accounts.
  • Reporting: Keep a pulse on sales metrics and KPIs by generating regular reports on visit frequency referrals and other key metrics for the region helping us stay informed and agile in our approach.
  • Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment process for open or new/growth community liaison positions playing a key role in building a high-performing team that drives results.
  • Market Insights: Stay ahead of the curve by staying informed about market trends competition and best practices in sales techniques and strategies ensuring we remain at the forefront of our industry.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree strongly preferred
  • Minimum four years of healthcare sales/community liaison experience preferably in hospice
  • Minimum of two-years management experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of hospice regulations
  • Demonstrated success in growing local or regional patient census
  • Must be willing to travel and spend at least 70% of time in assigned markets
  • Current drivers license vehicle insurance and access to dependable transportation.

$110000 - $120000 per year (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general guideline for the role and is not a guarantee of the final offer. Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidates relevant experience and the specific responsibilities of the position. Final compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
