Hyster-Yale Materials Handling Inc a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Area Coach II based at our Berea KY location.

What you will do:

• Lead and develop a team of frontline supervisors and production employees to safely achieve daily production quality and delivery goals.

• Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations balancing staffing resources and production priorities to meet business objectives and customer commitments.

• Monitor operational performance metrics identify gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity quality efficiency and employee engagement.

• Foster a culture of accountability teamwork and open communication by coaching employees resolving issues and promoting collaboration across manufacturing engineering quality materials and other support functions.

• Ensure employees are properly trained cross-trained and qualified to perform their work safely and effectively while supporting workforce development and succession planning.

• Maintain compliance with safety standards quality requirements operating procedures and regulatory guidelines to create a safe and productive work environment.

• Lead daily operational meetings coordinate problem-solving efforts and implement corrective actions to remove barriers reduce waste and improve workflow performance.

What you will need:

• Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Operations Management Manufacturing or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

• 3-5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing production or industrial environment.

Skills Experience & Abilities:

• Knowledge of manufacturing operations production processes workforce planning and performance management systems.

• Experience using production metrics and operational data to identify issues make decisions and improve performance.

• Demonstrated success leading Lean manufacturing continuous improvement and root cause problem-solving initiatives.

• Strong planning scheduling and resource management skills in a high-volume production environment.

• Proficiency with manufacturing systems production reporting tools and Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of safety regulations quality standards and compliance requirements within a manufacturing setting.
