Position Overview

Woolpert is an award-winning global architectural practice focused on performance-driven highly complex facilities for some of the worlds largest technology clients. We blend applied research strategic thinking and technology-driven design methods while seeking innovation that will define the future of our profession and drive solutions to the most complex design problems. We are seeking to hire an Architectural Designer to join our Healthcare Practice within our Buildings Team for our Coral Gables Florida office and offer a hybrid work schedule.

What You Will Do:

• Assists Project Architect in the preparation of construction documents and specifications using computerassisteddesign software and equipment.

• Assistsin the preparation and production of presentation materialsmodelsand material boards.

• Contribute to the preparation of project documentation including design drawings specifications reports and supporting materials.

• Support the coordination of design information with internal disciplines and external consultants.

• Participate inconstruction phaseactivities including assisting withonsiteobservations and documenting field conditions under supervision.

• Communicate clearly and professionally with project team members and asappropriate external stakeholders.

• Participates in firm-wide quality initiatives.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelors degree in architectureand4yearsrelated experience.

• Able to read analyze and interpret general business documents professional journals technicalproceduresor governmental regulations.

• LEED accreditation preferred

• Must enjoy collaborating with a design team

• Proficient in AutoCAD Revit and other technical design software.

• Proficient withadditionalarchitectural or visualization software (Rhinoceros Adobe Creative Suite etc.) as well as the Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a collaborativefastpacedwork environment
