Our Culver City office is seeking an Architectural Designer II or Team Leader with 4 years of experience who is passionate about healthcare design and ready to take the next step toward becoming a licensed Project Architect. Whether you already have healthcare project experience or are eager to build your career in the healthcare marketyoullfind opportunities to work on meaningful projects alongside experienced mentors while gaining exposure to workplace entertainment and other market sectors. With strong mentorship increasing project responsibility and robust support for architectural licensure Cuningham is committed to helping you grow into the next stage of your career.
- Develop creative design solutions coordination efforts and production documents throughout all phases of design using sketching 2D and 3D modeling and computational design methods.
- Translate design concepts into coordinated technically sound documentation that supports successful project delivery.
- Participate in client presentations and communicate design ideas clearly and confidently.
- Collaborate closely with architects interior designers consultants contractors and project teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Coordinate BIM models and project documentation internally and with consulting teams.
- Participate in construction administration activities site observations and field verification alongside Project Architects and project leaders.
- Apply regenerative and sustainable design principles that positivelyimpactthe built social and natural environments.
- Research building materials exterior systems waterproofing strategies wall assemblies vertical circulation and emerging technologies.
- Participate in code reviews and support technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support site analysis massing studies programming and space planning efforts.
- Coordinate with our Specifications team to ensure project quality and consistency.
- Produce high-quality work while taking ownership of assigned project responsibilities.
- Continue developingproficiencyin Revit BIM 360 Bluebeam Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office while expanding your skills in RhinoEnscape Lumion and other emerging visualization tools.
- 4 years of professional architectural experience.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture.
- Healthcare project experience is preferred.
- A strong interest in building a career designing healthcare environments is required.
- Experience contributing to projects through multiple phases of design and documentation.
- Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Curiosity initiative and a desire to continuously improve your craft.
- A passion for learning mentoring and growing into greater project leadership responsibilities.
- Working toward architectural licensure is encouraged.
