Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Architect / Cloud Engineer with a / C# development background to design build and support cloud-based solutions within a financial services environment. This role requires hands-on engineering capability combined with architectural thinking to support highly scalable secure and low-latency systems used in trading risk and financial data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native architectures using modern engineering best practices
- Develop and maintain high-performance applications using C# / .NET (.NET Core preferred)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders traders and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Architect and support distributed systems APIs and microservices
- Ensure solutions meet security compliance and performance standards required in financial services
- Lead code reviews enforce coding standards and mentor junior engineers
- Optimize systems for reliability scalability and low latency
- Participate in production support and incident resolution as needed
Core skillset:
- 8-10 years of experience
- Kubernetes
- AWS/Azure Cloud experience applications
- Infrastructure as code such as Terraform and GitOps
- CI/CD Ppelines(Jenkins GitLab Azure Devops) for automating efficient and reliable software delivery
- C# .net core core SQL Postgresz
- Very comfortable working in CLI environments in both linux and windows
- Experience on design and implementation of cloud native microservices applications with messaging queues REST APIs kafka SQS etc
- Excellent troubleshooting debugging and communication skills
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications
- Experience working in a hedge fund or trading environment
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture messaging systems (Kafka RabbitMQ)
- Understanding of financial instruments trading systems or risk platforms (preferred)
- Good to have some backoffice exposure in building modern financial applications for hedge funds / asset managers.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high-accountability environment
- Team-oriented with the ability to influence and lead technically
