Job Summary

ABOUT THE COMPANY: Keystone Associates Architects Engineers and Surveyors LLC is a multidisciplinary design firm headquartered in Binghamton New York. Established in 1993 the firm combines architectural design with practical sustainable engineering solutions and brings architects engineers and surveyors together to support coordinated project delivery.

ABOUT THE POSITION: Motivated architectural professionals are sought at all career levels from entry-level designers seeking mentorship through the NCARB experience program to seasoned Project Architects prepared to lead complex commercial and institutional projects. The project portfolio includes educational facilities municipal buildings residential renovations and interior spatial design.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Create architectural designs floor plans and 3D renderings for commercial industrial and residential projects; produce detailed construction drawings specifications and as-built plans using AutoCAD and Revit; collaborate with in-house civil structural and environmental engineers to develop integrated design solutions; ensure designs comply with New York State Building Codes ADA requirements and local zoning ordinances; conduct site visits review submittals and perform building inspections to verify that construction matches design intent; and at mid-to-senior levels lead client meetings develop project scopes and manage budgets and schedules.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Revit and Adobe Creative Suite experience; New York State Registered Architect license or active pursuit of licensures; LEED AP certification or strong interest in sustainable design; and experience with K-12 municipal or healthcare architecture.



Requirements
Bachelors or masters degree in Architecture from an accredited program; proficiency in AutoCAD; strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team; keen attention to design accuracy; and commitment to high-quality project delivery.
