Program Summary

KBR maintains and manages US Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion - Charleston (AFSBn-CHS) land site to include all logistics and maintenance operations. The KBR APS-3 Program is managed and executed at Goose Creek in support of the Armys power projection doctrine and resources. The contract provides maintenance of APS-3 stocks (Class II IIIP IV VII IX) to ensure that unit sets are configured and maintained at optimal readiness. KBR also provides maintenance services and logistical support for other Army programs IAW individual scope of work contract requirements.

Job Summary

The Property Management Supervisor leads a team of 20 supply employees to within the Property Management section (Property Book). The section is responsible for the receiving accountability inventory and shipment of customers MTOE (Modified Table of Organization and Equipment). The equipment and materials consist of both class VII and Class II. Primary systems include GCSS-Army DST and Vantage. The positions reports to the Business Manager. The position regularly coordinates with maintenance sections.

The supervisor delegates the workload to the team tracks status and ensures the schedule is met. The supervisor provides or arranges training to the employees within the section. The supervisor exercises significant authority to establish procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with Army Regulations PWS (Performance Work Statement) and workload guidance

  • Lead and train members of the Property Management team

  • Track and prioritize workload; ensure schedule requirements are met

  • Coordinate laterally with shops to ensure equipment accountability

  • Ensure completion of annual quarterly and monthly inventories; maintain accountability of Major End Items

  • Understand and utilize GCSS-Army DST and Army Vantage

  • Update and create data/reports using Microsoft Office (Excel Power Point Word)

  • Conduct causative research

  • Uphold KBR and OSHA safety standards

  • Other duties that may be assigned to meet company and departmental goals

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma required Bachelors degree in related field preferred but not required.

  • Preferred experience as a DoD contractor GSA employee or uniformed military with the ability to review and apply technical specifications and requirements.

  • Strong written and oral communication.

  • Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain local base access.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand - between 5 to 6 hours per day.

  • Must be able to walk - between 3 to 4 hours per day.

  • Must be able to Lift - up to 35 lbs. 50 lbs. periodically.

  • Must be able to squat kneel bend reach and climb periodically.

  • Must be able to work outside and inside in non-climate-controlled environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Army Cargo Movement Operations System (CMOS)

  • Strong working knowledge of Supply Support Activity (SSA) core processes Excess and Reparable Management and Plant 2000/2001 Material Requirements Planning (MRP).

  • Familiarity with supply reports in Business Intelligence (BI) Launch Pad.

  • Proficiency in GCSS-Army process troubleshooting and understanding the functional flow of customer requirements and material procurement.

  • Knowledge of the GCSS-Army Training and Certification (GTRAC) system and associated personnel roles.

  • Skill in using Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Experience using DST and Army Vantage

  • Leadership experience

  • Ability to apply process improvements to achieve desired outcomes
