Compensation: $22.00/hour
The incumbent will regularly perform the following tasks:
- Adjust equipment based on the tooling and the customers specific technical requirements
- Program PLC and HMI for operator use on 9700XY model.
- Communicate customer needs and design requirements to Engineering department
- Provide internal and external support.
- Support customers technical problems pre- and post- product sale and determine a solution for quality and productivity
- Supply data-based literature to support Zierick equipment for a specific application this includes but is not limited to manuals data sheets et cetera
- Generate product notes on how to implement specific functionality of a product
- Ensure reliable operation of application identifying root causes of issues and determining mitigation options and solutions
- Troubleshoot internal and external applications
- Contact and communicate with outside vendors and customers
- Manage APIN (Applicator Inventory) including but not limited to cycle counts relabeling and quality checks.
- Perform conceptual or run-off testing that is quantifiable
- Perform special projects as needed. This may include supporting outside departments and production.
- Adhere to document control practices
- Follow safety procedures
Note: The customer is not exclusively external. Equipment and application-related development may be performed for internal factory use.
Less frequently the incumbent will perform other duties as required that may include:
- Inspect components and ensure quality
- Assisting in Engineering research testing and development
Required Qualifications Mechanical ability Proficient use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment Ability to read technical drawings and schematics Ability use CAD software (e.g. Solidworks) Metrology | Preferred Skills Microsoft Word and Excel Testing to EIA Standards Machining and knowledge of electrical systems | ||
Additional Notes Zierick will provide training and training opportunities to the incumbent to fulfill the job description. |
