Application Program Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Program Manager to join our growing team. As the Application Program Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our companys application programs including development implementation and maintenance. You will work closely with our IT team and other departments to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality applications that meet our clients needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement application program strategies and plans that align with the companys overall objectives

- Manage all phases of the application development life cycle including requirements gathering design development testing and deployment

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize application needs and requirements

- Oversee the work of application developers and ensure they are meeting project timelines and quality standards

- Develop and maintain project budgets and timelines and report progress to senior management

- Monitor and evaluate application performance and make recommendations for improvements

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for application development and security

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in application development and make recommendations for their implementation

- Provide training and support to end-users on new and existing applications

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the application program team

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field

- 5 years of experience in application development and project management

- Proven experience managing complex application programs from concept to deployment

- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices

- Experience with project management tools and methodologies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong leadership and team management abilities

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Experience in the engineering or construction industry is a plus
