Application Engineer Bilingual in Korean (TN)

• Analyze and troubleshoot IT and manufacturing application issues for EV battery plants.
• Monitor and maintain manufacturing systems to ensure stable and reliable operations.
• Support system implementations upgrades and ongoing maintenance.
• Communicate with plant users IT vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical documentation reports and user guides.
• Provide user training and technical support for manufacturing systems.
• Support factory automation software implementation and testing while working with equipment and PLC engineers.
• Investigate and resolve production-related system issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science Engineering or a related field; or
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Manufacturing IT Systems or Manufacturing System Management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle SQL.
• Experience supporting manufacturing systems such as:
  • MES
  • WMS
  • ERP
  • MCS
• Familiarity with factory automation environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Korean language skills are a plus (not required).
• Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments is preferred.

Travel

• Up to 30% travel required.
• Business trips may range from 1 to 5 weeks depending on project needs.
