Description: The Appian Developer will design develop and deploy low-code applications on the Appian platform for the Army acquisition community. The developer will support legacy modernization efforts and will integrate enterprise systems through web services APIs and data migration. This role will work closely with architects and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments to translate business requirements into scalable secure and high-performing workflow and case management solutions. The position will emphasize DevOps best practices technical documentation troubleshooting and continuous optimization of Appian applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development: Proficient in Appian platform including design development and deployment of Appian applications
Legacy Modernization: Re-platform applications from older technologies
Integration: Integrate Appian with other systems and databases handling data migration
Agile & DevOps: Participate in Agile ceremonies code reviews unit testing and CI/CD pipelines promoting DevOps best practices.
Design & Architecture: Collaborate with Lead Architects on design and technical documentation
Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Strong understanding of business process modeling workflow automation and case management
Experience with Appian SAIL interfaces records and reports
Ability to integrate Appian with external systems using web services and APIs
Skilled in troubleshooting debugging and optimizing Appian solutions
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
