Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced API Developer and amp; Application Analyst with strong Epic integration expertise to support a direct client healthcare technology initiative. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Epic technical build activities healthcare systems integration HL7 interfaces FHIR APIs and Cloverleaf Interface Engine.
This role will be responsible for developing supporting and maintaining integrations between Epic and various healthcare and research applications while ensuring data integrity and seamless interoperability.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain healthcare system integrations using Epic Bridges and Cloverleaf Interface Engine
- Build and support HL7 interfaces and FHIR-based APIs
- Develop and maintain web services and API integrations
- Analyze validate and troubleshoot healthcare data exchanges
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather integration requirements
- Support Epic technical build activities and system enhancements
- Monitor interface performance and resolve integration issues
- Perform data validation testing and analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Create technical documentation and integration specifications
- Support enterprise healthcare interoperability initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Epic Bridges Certification (Required)
- Cloverleaf Interface Engine experience
- 7 years of Epic technical build experience
- Experience with HL7 interface development
- Experience with FHIR API development and integration
- Healthcare systems integration experience
- Web services and API development experience
- Data validation and data analysis experience

- Epic Research experience
- REDCap integration experience
- OnCore integration experience
- SPARC integration experience
- Healthcare research systems experience
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) integration experience
