Student placement - Admissions

Location

For this placement you would be based at Richmond. Students on placement will need to have a valid police check and Working with Children Check

Eligibility

• Undergraduate- Social Work

Placement

Under supervision your placement would include opportunities to undertake observe or assist with:

• providing engagement assessment treatment and support services to individuals and their families
• Facilitating client admissions through:

-assessing client suitability

- participating in preparation and support groups

- consulting with other services as appropriate

• Providing support and targeted interventions to enhance the clients engagement and retention in treatment
