Anticipated Teacher Guidance Counselor

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New Jersey educational services certificatewith a School Counselor endorsement or a Student Personnel Servicesendorsementor other appropriate endorsement(s).
• Hold a valid drivers license with no serious violations.
• Demonstrates experience delivering classroom lessonsand school-wide activities that support students academic college and career and social-emotional development.
• Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills and demonstrates the ability to effectively collaborate with students families teachers administrators and community partners to support student success.
• Has experience facilitating Intervention and Referral Services (I&RS) meetings coordinating Section 504 plans and implementing crisis intervention in accordance with district state and federal guidelines.
• Exhibits a professional disposition strong moral character and personal initiative while maintaining confidentiality and advocating for the needs of all students.
• Communicates effectively both orally and in writing in English and demonstrates proficiency in the use of technology student information systems educational platforms and data-management tools.
