Role: Angular Developer

Location: New York City 3 days/week onsite (Need local candidates only)

We are seeking an experienced Angular Developer to join our technology team at a leading investment bank. The successful candidate will design develop and maintain high-performance web applications that support critical investment banking functions including trading risk management portfolio management market data research operations and client reporting.

You will work closely with business stakeholders product managers UX designers architects backend engineers and QA teams to deliver secure scalable and intuitive digital solutions in a highly regulated financial-services environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop test and maintain responsive web applications using Angular and TypeScript.

Build reusable scalable and high-performance UI components.

Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.

Collaborate with business analysts and investment banking stakeholders to understand functional requirements.

Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions.

Develop dashboards analytical tools workflow applications and client-facing platforms.

Implement state management using technologies such as NgRx RxJS or equivalent solutions.

Ensure applications meet high standards for performance security accessibility and usability.

Write clean maintainable well-documented and testable code.

Develop unit integration and end-to-end tests using tools such as Jasmine Karma Jest Cypress or Playwright.

Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution of defects.

Participate in code reviews technical design discussions and agile ceremonies.

Contribute to continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.

Follow enterprise security data privacy audit and regulatory requirements.

Support application modernization technical debt reduction and platform enhancements.

Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related discipline.

14 years of professional experience in front-end development.

Experience working with Investment Banks for 5 years is MUST
