Analytics Internship Fall 2026

Rivers Edge Insurance Solutions a surplus lines insurance brokerage and managing general underwriter licensed in all 50 states is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Analytics Intern to assist with various administrative tasks in our Richmond VA office. The ideal candidate for this role is a current college student or recent graduate who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. You will provide essential support to our team and have the opportunity to develop your skills and grow in a supportive and dynamic environment.

In this role you will:

• Provide support to ensure deadlines are met while maintaining a positive collaborative work environment
• Assist in the analysis and assembly of reports ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Create maintain and enter information into spreadsheets databases and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis reporting and visualization
• Develop and implement Python scripts for web scraping and data extraction
• Support senior sales and business development personnel in creating and pitching sports-related promotions
• Assist with any overflow work

• A current college student or recent college graduate to work in our Richmond VA office at least 15 hours per week
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level including functions pivot tables and data visualization
• Experience with Python for web scraping and data manipulation
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Detail oriented; ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Must be a self starter a quick learner and resourceful in solving problems
