Summary
The Scientist I / Analytical Scientist is responsible for performing chemical and physical testing of pharmaceutical raw materials finished products stability samples and in-process materials using validated analytical methods. The role involves conducting routine laboratory testing documenting and reporting results maintaining analytical instruments ensuring compliance with GMP/GLP standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support quality and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform chemical and physical testing of pharmaceutical raw materials finished products stability samples and in-process materials.
- Execute validated and compendial analytical methods for strength impurities identity spectroscopy chromatography and traditional wet chemistry analyses.
- Identify investigate and report out-of-specification (OOS) unexpected or non-routine analytical results and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Operate maintain and troubleshoot analytical laboratory instrumentation as required.
- Accurately document testing procedures analytical data and results in accordance with laboratory procedures and documentation systems.
- Prepare and communicate analytical findings clearly to internal stakeholders and cross-functional departments.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness organization and proper handling of testing materials and equipment.
- Perform all laboratory activities in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with company and facility quality and regulatory standards.
Required Skills
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry Biology or another Science-related discipline (required).
- No prior industry experience required.
- Familiarity with common Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of chromatographic data acquisition systems is preferred.
