Note:
The manager is looking for any experience related to inventory sample management reagents Quality control SEC or LC-MS. Duties:
Seeking a talented and innovative Scientist to join the Bioanalysis-Drug Metabolism/Pharmacokinetics (BA-DMPK) department at our Ridgefield CT this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams within DMPK to support the management and characterization of critical reagents used in bioanalytical assays for non-clinical and clinical studies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Functions effectively as a team member demonstrating the behaviors and attributes required to complete interdependent and cross-functional tasks in a dynamic work environment. Success depends on effective communication collaboration personal accountability and a proactive attitude when handling urgent tasks and taking on new responsibilities.
- Execute routine procedures in an independent and efficient manner related to standard specialized and custom reagents matrices and reference standards including inventory management physical receipt and organized storage electronic tracking monitoring and discrepancy resolution. Manage off-site reagent sample storage and tracking.
- Conduct analytical characterization of critical reagents including concentration determinationaSECand/orLC-MS.
- Carry out laboratory safety responsibilities including inspections of eyewash stations and fire extinguishers within the BA-DMPK laboratories.
- Coordinate pipette and balance calibration activitiesin DMPK.
- Archive analytical data reports andsupportingdocumentation in electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Communicate results through reports presentations and other Microsoft Office documents. Present findings clearly and effectively defend scientific conclusions in team meetings.
- May be assigned additional responsibilities (e.g. equipment maintenance freezer management etc.) under the direction of Bioanalysis/DMPK Management.
- Comply with applicable regulations and perform all work in a safe manner. Maintain proper records in accordance with SOPs and *** policies
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results and successfully follow through on commitments.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn electronic data management systems and laboratory software tools.
- Experience with analytical size exclusion chromatography (aSEC) and LC-MS.
