The Analytical Laboratory Associate Supervisor works closely with the Analytical Supervisor to plan manage and supervise the Analytical Laboratory ensuring all test results are delivered accurately on time and in a cost-effective manner while maintaining proper safety standards.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (hours TBD)
Work Restrictions: Due to the nature of the work medical marijuana cards are not permitted and random drug testing is conducted.
Supervisory Responsibility: This role supervises a portion of the technical staff within the Analytical Laboratory.
Essential Functions
Review all data and test results for accuracy completeness and compliance with SOPs
Provide technical direction to internal and external stakeholders
Ensure safety programs are implemented and enforced
Review CAPA reports for adequacy before final approval
Ensure team members are properly trained
Perform managerial duties including scheduling hiring training performance evaluations and disciplinary actions
Recommend process and policy improvements to management
Escalate issues related to critical instruments systems or processes being out of specification
Properly use and maintain required safety equipment (PPE)
Adhere to all company safety standards policies and procedures

Minimum 4 years of industrial or academic experience
Bachelors in Chemistry preferred
46 years of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
