ABOUT THE ROLE

The Analyst Project Financeisresponsible forsupporting theteam focusing on project financing as well as strategicmodelingof solar and storage projects. This role will support thecreatingand updating of complex financial models supporting transaction closings and supporting complianceoffinancial documents. We have a preference for applicants in the Boise or New York areas or individuals open to relocating to one of those areas.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Uselong termforecast models to analyze potential capital projects using valuation techniques including IRR and NPV.

• Assistwith the due diligence review and analysis of prospectivefinancings.

• Assistin performing complex modelingincluding creating valuationsbudgetsand evaluating financial structures for debt and tax equity.

• Prepare and update HLBV and tracking models analytical packages and group KPIs.

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all financial data in financial models.

• Provide scenario planning andcommunicateresults related but not limited to PPA Capital Investments and Financing structures.

• Collaborate with individualdepartment as well as cross-functionallywith other departments within the organization.

• Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Education: Bachelors degree in finance business energy/environmental or related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Capital Markets Project Finance and/or tax equity structures or investment banking within renewable energy industry.
• Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and an ability to learn company-specific software programs tools processes and machines.
• Skills/Attributes:
  • Ability to build and interpret project finance models in Excel including cash flow projections IRR NPV and sensitivity analysis for renewable energy projects.
  • Understanding of key metrics such as Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) capacity factors and PPA structures to evaluate project viability.
  • Proficiencyin Excel (advanced functions pivot tables) and familiarity with financial software or BI tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for analyzing large datasets and preparing reports.
  • Analytical Curiosity: Proactively asks questions to understand drivers behind assumptions.
  • Adaptability: Handles shifting priorities andlearnsnew tools quickly.
  • Structured Communication: Clearly explains numbers and logic in simple terms.
