Millwood Golf & RV Resort is looking for a skilled reliable and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to help us restore and maintain our resort facilities. This is a hands-on role for a well-rounded handyman who can tackle a wide variety of repair and upkeep tasks across our cabins buildings pool RV sites and common areas. Our current priority is working through a backlog of cabin and building repairs so candidates with strong building maintenance experience will stand out.

Key Responsibilities
Cabins & Buildings Primary Focus
Assess and prioritize a backlog of deferred repairs across cabin inventory
Repair and replace rotted or damaged siding trim and exterior wood
Fix and maintain doors windows locks and screens
Patch drywall caulk paint and perform interior finish work
Repair or replace decking steps railings and lattice skirting
Service and troubleshoot window AC units and through-wall HVAC systems
Address plumbing issues: leaky faucets running toilets supply line repairs
Perform minor electrical repairs: outlets switches fixtures and breakers
Inspect rooflines gutters and overhangs; address minor roofing issues
Keep cabins guest-ready by responding promptly to reported maintenance needs
Pool & Amenities
Daily chemical testing balancing and water treatment
Skimming vacuuming brushing and filter maintenance
Pressure wash pool deck and maintain surrounding structures
Inspect and maintain gazebos shade structures and furniture
RV Sites & Utilities
Inspect and repair electrical pedestals (30/50 amp hookups)
Maintain water connections and check for leaks
Monitor sewer connections and dump station equipment
Respond to guest utility issues promptly
General Property
Repair picnic tables benches fencing and signage
Maintain restroom and shower facilities
Support seasonal setups and assist with special projects as needed
Light groundskeeping and trash management as needed
What Were Looking For
2 years of hands-on maintenance building repair or handyman experience
Comfort working across multiple trades: carpentry plumbing electrical HVAC
Ability to diagnose problems independently and determine the best repair approach
Experience with interior and exterior finish work (drywall paint caulk trim)
Pool maintenance experience is a plus but not required
Dependable self-directed and able to prioritize a varied workload
Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks in all weather
Strong communication skills and a guest-friendly attitude
Valid drivers license required
