Shambaugh & Son is looking for a Fire Protection Alarm Design Assistant on a part time basis. This position is responsible for assisting in the design and project managment of fire alarm systems layouts and construction.

- Assist in the design and layout of Fire Alarm systems in 2D and 3D modeling softwares.
- Read analyze and interpret contract documents construction drawings and specifications of alarm and other trade disciplines.
- Work with and comprehend mathematical and electrical concepts including project cost analysis.
- Other duties assigned.
- Working toward a Degree in a technical or business discipline preferred or alarm electrical or construction experience.
- Strong analytical critical thinking and mathematical aptitude with attention to detail
- Regular and reliable attendance including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
