At Raytheon as an Electrical Engineer Intern you will be responsible for supporting the product line within the Airborne RF Electronics Department. You will be working as a member of a team that supports a production program under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in McKinney and/or Plano Texas.

What You Will Do:

• Troubleshooting hardware and process issues down to circuit card assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/power circuitry and interfaces.
• Troubleshooting test sets down to component level to include analog/digital/radio and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces.
• Analysis of test data of products to make sure test specifications are met through use of SW (MATLAB) tools.
• Generating and Updating documents drawings designs and specifications.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Must be pursuing Bachelors or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or relatedScience Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Strong communication skills including report writing and presentations
• Conduct failure investigations and provide recommendations to address systemic issues and to prevent recurrence
• Experience with Manufacturing Engineering
• Knowledge of LabVIEW LUA C MATLAB Python programming languages

The salary range for this role is 37000 USD - 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
