Air Export Coordinator

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of air export shipments ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Communicate with customers carriers and internal teams to obtain shipment details and provide status updates.
• Book cargo space with airlines negotiate rates and arrange for transportation to the airport.
• Prepare and review export documentation including airway bills commercial invoices and packing lists.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all shipment-related documentation to minimize delays and errors.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and provide timely updates to customers.
• Collaborate with customs brokers to facilitate customs clearance processes.
• Handle any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the export process including cargo discrepancies delays or regulatory challenges.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in export regulations and compliance requirements.
• Assist in the development of efficient export processes and procedures to improve departmental operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in air export coordination within the freight forwarding industry.
• Knowledge of air export regulations documentation and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency and comfortable with technology; experience with Google Suite and CargoWise is preferred.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
