Pay Rate Range: $55 to $60

Position Overview

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on AI Project Manager & Scrum Master who bridges the worlds of agile delivery and artificial intelligence. You will lead cross-functional teams building AI-powered products and platforms ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and with measurable business impact. You are as comfortable running a sprint retrospective as you are interpreting model performance metrics or coordinating with data science teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies - sprint planning daily standups sprint reviews and retrospectives - for one or more AI/ML product teams.
• Define and own end-to-end project plans for AI initiatives from discovery and data acquisition through model deployment and monitoring.
• Partner with product owners data scientists ML engineers and business stakeholders to maintain a prioritized well-groomed backlog.
• Identify track and proactively resolve risks dependencies and impediments unique to AI/ML projects (data readiness model drift regulatory requirements).
• Develop and communicate clear project status reports OKRs and KPIs to executive leadership.
• Champion responsible AI principles - fairness explainability and data privacy - throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Continuously improve team velocity and delivery processes through data-driven retrospectives and agile best practices.
• Coordinate vendor and third-party AI tool evaluations integrations and procurement.

Position Summary

This role combines traditional Agile Project Management and Scrum Master responsibilities with AI/ML program delivery leadership. The ideal candidate will manage AI-driven initiatives from concept through production deployment facilitate Agile ceremonies coordinate cross-functional teams including Data Scientists and ML Engineers manage project risks related to AI systems and ensure alignment with business objectives. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of both Agile methodologies and the AI/ML development lifecycle along with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of project or program management experience with at least 2 years leading AI/ML or data-driven projects.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM PSM I/II) or equivalent certification.
• Solid understanding of the AI/ML development lifecycle - data collection model training evaluation deployment and monitoring.
• Proficiency with agile tools: Jira Linear Azure Devops or equivalent.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with project tracking methodologies: Kanban SAFe or hybrid frameworks.
