Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte NC Plano TX and Pennington NJ. This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

The successful Technical Project Manager (TPM) takes ownership of their projects by understanding business drivers establishing realistic timelines and securing commitment from key team members. This role involves actively facilitating technical discussions managing project plans and communicating status risks and impacts to management and stakeholders. The TPM will ensure the delivered infrastructure solution meets all project goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Plan coordinate and deliver defined project deliverables engaging multiple teams
• Establish realistic timelines and get commitment from key project team members on delivery
• Maintain a detailed project plan (WBS) with dependencies ownership and committed task durations
• Facilitate technical discussions and sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery
• Communicate work objectives coordinate delivery manage risks and ensure compliance to standards
• Provide end-to-end visibility into the health of deliverables
• Identify issues and risks understand their impact on project deliverables and drive resolution
• Build collaborative relationships with technical operations and business partners
• Ensure project execution meets expectations in terms of functionality quality timeline and cost

Requirements:

• 7 years of experience in Infrastructure project management
• 2 years of experience with Public Cloud (i.e. AWS Azure)
• Ability to facilitate and manage multiple infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
• Ability to lead complex projects and/or programs
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) for all levels in the organization
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task as well as being flexible to assist team members as needed

Desired skills:

• Midrange server and/or network infrastructure project delivery experience
• Experience with Jira in management of projects through Deliverables/Epics/Stories and cross-dependencies management
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodology environments

Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hour
