As an Aggie Shuttle Bus Driver at USU you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and reliable transportation of students faculty and staff. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused possess excellent communication skills and prioritize safety at all times. Training will be provided to ensure that you are well-equipped to handle the responsibilities of the position. All individuals hired will be expected to possess or be able to receive a class B CDL as well as Passenger and Airbrake endorsements.

• Safely operate Aggie Shuttle buses to transport students faculty and staff to various destinations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and college policies to ensure the safety of passengers.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus providing exceptional customer service.
• Maintain a clean and organized bus interior.
• Assist with other assignments for major parking events such as home basketball and football games.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old due to licensing requirements
• Possess a valid drivers license
• Willingness to undergo training to qualify for a Class B CDL Passenger endorsement and Airbrake endorsement

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize safety and adhere to traffic laws
