TITLE OF POSITION: After School Math Lab Certified Teacher (3 positions at OMS)

STARTING DATE: Immediately

CLOSING DATE: Until Filled

Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour

Hours: 4.5 hours per week

3 positions - 2:50-3:45 (M T W TR)

Preferred:

• Secondary Math Certification Preferred

Job Duties/Requirements:

• Develops strong relationships with kids
• Takes and records attendance each day
• Provides strategic academic intervention to students
• Networks with fellow teachers to identify and prioritize student needs
• Helps students organize their work and their lives
• Communicates with parents and colleagues as necessary on behalf of students
• Guides students in establishing long-term and short-term goals
• Collects data on student goal attainment
• Other duties to make program successful
