Job Summary
TruGreen accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
Under supervision responsible for performing a range of manual labor duties including but not limited to operating an aerator and/or spreader lifting and moving materials and loading and unloading lawn care products from vehicles.
Responsibilities
Safely operates and/or maintains equipment such as aerators spreaders seeders trailers and ride-on equipment to aerate and seed lawns.
Operates equipment in compliance with all TG safety policies and procedures
Performs a daily three-minute 360 degree inspection of truck and equipment before taking the vehicle and upon return.
Interacts with the customer onsite as needed to receive further direction regarding area to be serviced.
Reads production schedule customer order or work order to determine items to be moved gathered distributed or serviced.
Follows instructions from tablet for service instructions work orders including required production forms and customer instructions.
Reviews work daily with Supervisor
May drive vehicle to production locations and assigned areas.

Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma/GED preferred.
Valid permanent drivers license from state of residence.
Ability to pass a DOT examination and obtain a DOT medical card
Must be 19 years of age by date of hire.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Ability to follow oral and written instructions short correspondence and memos.
Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
Ability to travel locally as needed.

Regularly exposed to chemicals using appropriate safety equipment
Occasionally work near mechanical or moving parts
Ability to speak read and write fluently in English is required.
