Job Summary
Status: Part Time Hourly
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Hourly Rate: $24.50
Schedule: Flexible Hours; non-traditional hours may include evenings and weekends
Summary of the Position: Hourly part-time positions serving youth and families throughout Hartford New Haven and Fairfield County are available.
- Serve as a dependable committed professional and positive role model for youth in community school and home settings.
- Initiate organize plan develop and implement direct advocacy services for assigned participants and their families.
- Build positive relationships with youth and families while providing guidance support and encouragement.
- Assist participants in identifying strengths setting goals and accessing community resources.
- Collaborate with families schools and community partners to support participant success.
- Support violence prevention efforts through mentoring relationship-building conflict resolution and positive youth engagement.
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services provided.
This position offers flexible hours competitive weekly pay mileage and activity reimbursement.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience working with at-risk youth and in a community-based program
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience using an electronic health record system is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish speaking) is preferred.
- Position requires reliable transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage.
