Advisor, IT Network Development

Pay Range: $55 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include but are not limited to health insurance (medical dental vision) 401(k) plan and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design configure and maintain enterprise network infrastructure focusing on Layer 2/Layer 3 switching technologies
• Develop and implement network automation solutions to streamline provisioning configuration and troubleshooting
• Manage and optimize network performance availability and security across data center and campus environments
• Automate routine network operations using scripting and orchestration tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network integration and deployment efforts
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation diagrams and operational procedures
• Participate in change management incident response and continuous improvement initiatives

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 5 years of network engineering experience
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 switching (VLANs VRRP MC-LAG STP VTP PortChannel and routing protocols such as OSPF/BGP)
• Hands-on experience with network automation tools such as Python Ansible or similar scripting/automation frameworks
• Familiarity with REST APIs and network programmability concepts
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP DNS DHCP and network security fundamentals
• Familiarity with major networking platforms (e.g. Client Cisco Arista Juniper)
