Key Responsibilities:
- Design configure and maintain enterprise network infrastructure focusing on Layer 2/Layer 3 switching technologies.
- Develop and implement network automation solutions to streamline provisioning configuration and troubleshooting.
- Manage and optimize network performance availability and security across data center and campus environments.
- Automate routine network operations using scripting and orchestration tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network integration and deployment efforts.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain up-to-date network documentation diagrams and operational procedures.
- Participate in change management incident response and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in network design and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with vulnerability and security risk assessments of network assets.
- Knowledge of unified communications solutions and integration with wireless technologies.
- 5 years of network engineering experience.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 switching (VLANs VRRP MC-LAG STP VTP PortChannel and routing protocols such as OSPF/BGP).
- Hands-on experience with network automation tools including demonstrated proficiency in Python Ansible or similar scripting/automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and network programmability concepts.
- Knowledge of major networking platforms (e.g. Client Cisco Arista Juniper).
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP DNS DHCP and network security fundamentals.
