Requirements

  • Current active and unrestricted Florida APRN license
  • Minimum of 1 year of outpatient/ambulatory primary care experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • HIV care experience preferred but not required
  • Strong clinical assessment diagnostic and medication management skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to patients in an outpatient setting
  • Assess diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment and care plans
  • Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with current clinical guidelines and Florida regulations
  • Order review and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
  • Monitor patients response to treatment and make adjustments as clinically appropriate
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments including medical histories and physical examinations
  • Provide patient education regarding medications treatment plans preventive care and overall health
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
  • Coordinate care with physicians behavioral health providers specialists and other members of the healthcare team
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all ethical legal and professional standards
  • Provide appropriate follow-up and ongoing management of patients health conditions
