Job Title: Advanced Practice Professional Hematology/Oncology

What Youll Champion:

• Join a brand-new Hematology/Oncology practice opening in Waynesboro offering the unique opportunity to help establish and grow a new service line from the ground up.
• Practice with a high degree of autonomy while working alongside an experienced Hematology/Oncology physician in a collaborative supportive environment. The APP will play an integral role in patient management and clinic operations.
• Varied outpatient oncology and hematology responsibilities including follow-up visits hematology patient care treatment preparation visits triage and oral chemotherapy education.
• Comprehensive onboarding and mentorship program including structured education shadowing opportunities and a gradual ramp-up designed to support success in the specialty.
• Excellent work-life balance with a part-time schedule working Wednesday through Friday and no call responsibilities currently required.
• Manageable patient volumes averaging approximately nine patients per day allowing providers to deliver personalized high-quality care to adult patients.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
• Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
• Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:

• 1 year Required

Licenses:

• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
• Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
• Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
• Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
