Position Summary
Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer on behalf of our client an aerospace and defense manufacturer with multiple metal manufacturing sites. The engineer develops optimizes and supports high-volume metal manufacturing processes across sites with emphasis on CNC machining cold forming cold heading rolling extrusion and secondary operations. The role travels 50% to 75% of the time including extended on-site assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead machining and cold-forming process engineering across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Specify develop and improve tooling and equipment for high-volume metal manufacturing.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) from process development through production.
- Drive quality and continuous improvement across machining and forming operations.
- Lead materials and supplier development for steels and aluminum.
- Provide cross-functional leadership as the technical liaison between plants suppliers and corporate engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in manufacturing mechanical or industrial engineering.
- 10 years of experience in machining and/or cold forming environments.
- Cold forming experience in a manufacturing environment including work with steels and aluminum.
- Strong understanding of metal forming physics machining fundamentals and tooling.
- Proven experience supporting production in multi-site or supplier-facing roles.
- Willingness and ability to travel 50% to 75% including extended on-site assignments.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
