PAY RATE: $21.21/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Manufacture composite aircraft parts to meet engineering and manufacturing specifications.

• Perform composite manufacturing processes including:

  • Lay-up

  • Cutting

  • Bagging

  • Autoclave operations

  • Trimming

  • Composite repair

• Read and interpret:

  • Work orders

  • Blueprints

  • Lofts and sketches

  • Operation sheets

• Verify work quality and ensure defect-free assemblies prior to inspection.

• Maintain required logs and production records (MIR sheets DMTs PCOs DR/DI etc.).

• Support FOD 5S Lean manufacturing and safety initiatives.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• 1 year of composite manufacturing experience.

• Experience working with composite resins and materials.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Ability to read and interpret a 6-inch scale.

• Basic computer skills.

• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role.

• Must be able to work any shift.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
