SEAACA is a Joint Powers Authority comprising five main divisions: Animal Control Animal Care Animal Health Community Engagement Licensing and Customer Service. Together our job is to help as many animals as possible find good homes. Last year we placed nearly 91% of our live-intake JobUnder the supervision of the Manager of Animal Health & Community Engagement and the Adoption Partner Coordinator the Adoption Partner Clerk plays a pivotal role in supporting nonprofit animal rescue organizations that partner with SEAACA to save as many animals as possible. The position responds to inquiries regarding shelter animals Adoption Partner application status and related matters by email telephone and in person. The Clerk also assists with documentation; processes adoptions transfers and fosters; performs animal releases; and prepares animals for pickup to help move them into positive outcomes as quickly as possible. The Adoption Partner Clerk provides professional timely and empathetic communication to rescues while proactively identifying potential rescue placement for animals. The position responds to requests animal-related complaints and inquiries; provides information and education regarding agency programs and services; assists with records requests; and performs related clerical recordkeeping and monetary-transaction DUTIES:Provide professional and courteous customer service to Adoption Partners rescue organizations and the public to support the effective and efficient placement of and process Adoption Partner applications accurately and agency and general information to Adoption Partners rescue organizations and the computers and applicable software to perform data entry and maintain day-to-day communication and scheduling with Adoption Partners and rescue and electronically distribute time-sensitive communications regarding the status of available notes for available animals including animal descriptions and documented medical or behavioral in preparing animals for departure including coordinating with the veterinary team and preparing relevant ensure the humane and compassionate treatment of all animals in SEAACAs care including maintaining and caring for animals; monitoring animals for signs of illness disease or injury; and cleaning disinfecting and sanitizing cages and work monetary duties as DUTIES:Additional duties may vary.
