ADO Technical Lead

Role Summary

The Azure DevOps Tech Lead is responsible for designing implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines infrastructure automation and DevOps processes. This role involves leading a team ensuring best practices and collaborating with development QA and operations teams to deliver high-quality secure and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Manage and automate infrastructure using ARM templates Terraform or Bicep.
Oversee source control branching strategies and version management (Git).
Implement DevOps best practices including continuous integration continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development QA cloud security) to streamline workflows.
Monitor and improve system performance deployment reliability and environment stability.
Ensure proper security configurations and compliance across DevOps processes.
Troubleshoot build deployment and environment issues.
Mentor and guide DevOps engineers on technical and process improvements.
Prepare documentation dashboards and reports on DevOps activities.
Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6 10 years of overall experience with 3 years in a DevOps lead role.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Repos Pipelines Boards Artifacts).
Expertise in CI/CD pipelines Java or cloud-native applications.
Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services (App Services AKS Storage Networking Key Vault etc.).
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform ARM or Bicep.
Experience with Docker Kubernetes and container orchestration.
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell Bash Python YAML).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor App Insights Grafana etc.).
Good understanding of security best practices (RBAC policies secrets management).
Excellent problem-solving communication and leadership skills.
