Job Summary
The Admissions Manager oversees and manages the admissions process from first inquiry through client intake. This role ensures timely processes of applications coordinates the intake process and serves as a primary point of contact for prospective families and referral partners.

The Admissions Manager works closely with the Funding and Admissions Advocate and other program departments to ensure smooth and welcoming admissions experience for clients and their families.


Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential functions include the following:
  • Answer incoming calls from prospective applicants and referral partners; explain the Lakeside Academy program and admissions process
  • Handle inquiries from the website search engines and other referral sources; maintain consistent communication with families throughout the admissions process.
  • Conduct interviews with potential clients and families to assess program fit; review ROI documentation and application material; gather records from parents schools medical clinics and treatment centers.
  • Schedule and facilitate campus tours for prospective families; represent the program to referral sources and community partners.
  • Schedule intake dates and coordinate with schools providers and other agencies for necessary documentation.
  • Assign workload monitor progress and ensure timely completion of funding verifications and financial paperwork of the Funding Advocate.
  • Assist clients and parents on the day of admission; administer required screening tools and assessments per DHS guidelines; ensure all intake documentation is completed accurately and submitted appropriately.
  • Upload documents to Credible and maintain accurate client records; maintain intake documentation trackers and logs; manage files and other program databases ensure client documentation meets program and billing requirements.
  • Monitor admissions pipeline progress and ensure applications more efficiently toward admission coordinate with Funding & Admissions Advocate on financial and funding considerations.
  • Answer admissions phone calls and respond to inquiries; assist families in completing applications and intake paperwork; schedule tours.
  • Collect required documentation for intake; complete the intake process when needed; enter and update client information in Credible and other databases.
  • Discuss program expectations and funding information with families during intake coordinate with the Funding & Admissions Advocate on financial planning when necessary.
  • Participate in Parent Weekend activities as directed by the Director and assist with providing a positive experience for visiting families.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the respective supervisor or leadership team

Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Associates degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative and supervision
  • Experience with databases spreadsheet and word processing systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Commitment to MnTCs culture of honor and core values including compassion respect integrity servanthood and trust.
  • Comfort and compassion in working with individuals facing life-controlling challenges such as mental health issues and addiction.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • At least 1 year of freedom from problematic substances.
  • Must be able to meet specific staff requirements outlined in Minnesota Statutes 245G.11. Reference: Sec. 245G.11 MN Statutes
  • Must pass a DHS background study as required under MN Statutes Chapter 245C and 245G.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time

Target Compensation (Negotiable based on Qualifications):

$48000-$54000/year
