Job Description: BROAD FUNCTION As a vital member of the Admissions Team the Admissions Coordinator/Case Manager serves as an ambassador for Onondaga Community College representing the institution at both on and off campus recruitment initiatives. This position will develop valuable relationships with prospective students families secondary school counselors community partners and key stakeholders to advance strategic enrollment goals. This role strategically combines admissions recruitment with comprehensive case management support implementing proactive engagement strategies tailored to serving student parents and other special populations by connecting students to resources that address non-academic barriers to enrollment and persistence. The Admissions Coordinator/Case Manager proactively identifies engages and supports prospective students navigating them throughout the enrollment process while also addressing external challenges such as childcare transportation housing food insecurity financial instability and healthcare access utilizing on-campus and community resources. Serving as the central point of contact this position establishes a seamless supportive pathway from recruitment to matriculation. By addressing non-academic obstacles they drive higher enrollment yield and ensure long-term student success. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
