Job Summary

Position Title:Transition Administrative Specialist
Duration: September 1 2026 February 27 2027

KeenLogic is seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented Transition Administrative Specialist to provide administrative logistical and customer service support to the U.S. House of Representatives Customer Experience Center during the transition into the 120th Congress. This is a temporary full-time position located onsite in Washington DC from September 1 2026 through February 27 2027.

Job Summary:
This positionis located intheCustomer Service Department of the Customer Experience Center of the Chief Administrative Officer U.S. House of Representatives (House). The purpose of this new temporary role is to provide support to Customer Service Department teams including First Call and CAO Advocates as well as the Transition team during the transition period leading into the 120th Congress.

Key responsibilities include supporting andmaintainingadministrative workflow;material preparation for briefings and communications distribution; assistance with Helix ticket entry for transition related services; operational support of the Office Setup Briefings and coordinating and supporting day-to-day office activities as required.

Requirements:
  • Must be a US Citizen and eligible for government clearances
  • High school diploma or associatedegree or certification from an accredited business secretarial or technical school junior college or university.
  • Experience providing administrative support includingmanagingand organizing information.
  • Familiarity with House or Senate operations preferred.

Major Duties:
  • Provides administrative and logistical support for the coordination and preparation of Member-elect briefing materials during New Member Orientation.
  • Supports the New Member Orientation Volunteer Program by coordinating trainings creating volunteer schedules performing data entry and preparing briefing materials.
  • Assists CAO Advocates in supporting returning Members by researching Helix tickets and entering service requests.
  • Develops and maintains internal Member-elect summary profiles to support Office Setup Briefings.
  • Participates in quality control initiatives as needed.
  • Supports passport operations including but not limited to photo operations and book cancellations for departing and returning Members.
  • Provides assistance with space management operations including monitoring room usage and appearance of rooms after reservations.
  • Projects a positive customer-focused professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Performs other official duties and special projects as assignedbythe Director of Transition Deputy Director of Transition CAO Advocate Supervisor First Call Supervisor or Customer Service Senior Director.
