Job Summary

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
(Travel will be required when not working in the Raymore office setting.)

As an Administrative Specialist youll play a key role in supporting department operations by coordinating communications managing projects organizing meetings and helping teams stay connected and efficient. Key Responsibilities


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for department communications directing inquiries and supporting internal coordination.
  • Provide administrative support to department leadership and team members on a variety of projects and assignments.
  • Prepare edit and enhance presentations reports and other business documents.
  • Maintain department software spreadsheets filing systems and dashboards to support efficient operations.
  • Coordinate meetings trainings logistics and advisory board communications.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting and other departmental initiatives.
  • Support community engagement activities in collaboration with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Receive and distribute department deliveries and materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and recommend efficiencies.
  • Travel within Missouri to support meetings with leadership as needed.

Requirements Skills Knowledge and Expertise


  • High School/GED required
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn and effectively use department-specific software
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A valid unrestricted drivers license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required

QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and assignments
