Administrative & Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary
Location: Lubbock TX
The Administrative & Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for daily office administration tasks and approximately 100k in inventory. This will be an in-office position required to support the normal office hours of 7:30 am 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
- Utilize software to manage purchases receive goods approve invoices and manage time sheet entry.
- Manage on site inventory monitoring usage and conducting regular cycle counts to ensure the project team has enough materials on site for support project schedule.
- Attend all department and sales meetings as requested.
- Support project managers in RFQ process by sending RFQs to vendors suppliers and manufacturers for project bids set by the project scope.
- Source and purchase materials for successful bids.
- Drive forklift within warehouse environment to move inventory.
- Travel to client site when needed.
- Assist in the coordination of projects as needed.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate leadership.
- Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Three years proven experience.
- Strong time management organizational and multitasking skills.
- Forklift experience a plus willing to train
- Must have drivers license clean record preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and capable of producing accurate work under tight deadlines.
- The expected base salary range for this role is $27 - $35 USD per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills experience qualifications and location.
