Job Summary
Under the direction of the administrators the administrative assistant is responsible for assisting students parents staff and visitors.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma or general education degree
- Proficient use of computers including knowledge and use of Google Workspace and student data systems
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven organizational skills
- Demonstrated success as a collaborator and proven team player
- Demonstrated successful communication skills with students staff parents and community
Desired Characteristics:
- Prior administrative assistant/office experience preferred
- Ability to handle many job responsibilities and prioritize duties
- Experience working with children
Duties:
- To provide secretarial support to the Principal
- To assist students parents staff and visitors
- Type correspondence answer phones process mail and maintain general office files
- Process and maintain all necessary paperwork for supplies materials equipment and inventory
- Ability to plan and organize; good work habits
- Communicate effectively with students staff and parents
- To accurately maintain student information system on a timely basis
- Process reporting substitutes and all documents associated with payroll
- Willing and able to be trained in medical areas; diabetic screening dispensing medicine lice check fevers etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned by administration
