Job Summary

Administrative Assistant
Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) is an internationally recognized nonprofit organization dedicated to autism research education evidence-based behavior therapy and community outreach. Our mission is to advance research and provide a lifetime of support for individuals with autism and their families.
We are seeking a dynamic highly organized and adaptable Administrative Assistant to support our growing team.

This is a highly collaborative mobile role designed for someone who thrives on variety and keeping operations running smoothly across multiple locations. This position requires regular travel between our valley campuses to provide seamless administrative support where its needed most.
Your Role at SARRC
Dynamic Organization & Adaptability
  • Multi-Site Management: Ability to seamlessly transition your workflow between different campus environments without losing momentum.
  • Resourcefulness: High capacity to prioritize competing tasks manage shifting schedules and problem-solve on the fly.
  • Dependable Transportation: A valid drivers license reliable vehicle and a willingness to commute between campuses as scheduled.
Communication & Interpersonal Excellence
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Serve as a welcoming professional first point of contact for clients families donors and staff across all locations.
  • Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge information gaps between different campus teams.
  • Discretion & Empathy: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost care aligning with HIPAA compliance and SARRCs culture of respect.
Technical Proficiency
  • Digital Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word Excel Outlook SharePoint and Teams). Experience with electronic health records (EHR) or CRM databases is a major plus.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative support including greeting visitors answering phones and managing mail across assigned campuses.
  • Coordinate logistics travel schedules and supply distribution between locations.
  • Assist with scheduling data entry and document preparation for various departments.
  • Ensure all campus reception areas and meeting rooms are organized stocked and representative of SARRCs high standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 1 years of administrative office management or customer service experience (experience in a healthcare nonprofit or educational setting is preferred but not required).
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record with the ability to travel between valley campuses weekly/daily as needed.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.

Monday Friday
8:00am 5:00pm

This position will be required to commute to our different locations per business requirements.
